About the Role
We are looking for a talented Graphic Design Designer with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in Brand Identity Design, Print Design, Packaging Design. This role requires a balance of creative excellence and user-centered methodology — you'll create designs that are beautiful AND backed by research and data. The ideal candidate is proficient with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator, can lead design sprints, and communicates design rationale clearly to developers and stakeholders. You'll own the design process from user research through prototyping, testing, and production-ready handoff.
Key Responsibilities
- Own Brand Identity Design implementation and optimization — configuration, customization, and ongoing enhancement based on business needs
- Manage Print Design workflows including setup, user training, and continuous improvement of processes
- Implement and maintain Packaging Design ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and workflows
- Create Graphic Design designs from wireframes through high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes
- Conduct user research — interviews, usability testing, and analytics review — to inform design decisions
- Build and maintain design system components for consistency and development efficiency
- Present design concepts to stakeholders with clear rationale and supporting data
- Collaborate with developers during implementation to ensure design fidelity
- Ensure all designs meet WCAG 2.1 accessibility guidelines
- Iterate on designs based on user feedback, A/B testing results, and analytics data
Must-Have Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Brand Identity Design — configuration, customization, and troubleshooting in production environments
- Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop as part of the Graphic Design development/operations workflow
- 3+ years of professional Graphic Design design experience with a strong portfolio
- Proficiency with modern design tools — particularly Adobe Photoshop and prototyping software
- Understanding of user-centered design principles and ability to conduct user research
- Experience creating and maintaining design systems with documented components
- Strong visual design skills — typography, color theory, layout, and composition
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Adobe Certified Professional – Photoshop certification or equivalent validated credential
- Adobe Certified Professional – Illustrator certification or equivalent validated credential
- Experience with advanced Graphic Design features: Print Design, Packaging Design, Illustration
- Familiarity with the broader Graphic Design ecosystem including Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign
- Animation and micro-interaction design skills
- Experience with design tokens and handoff to React/iOS/Android development teams
Interview Tips
Portfolio Walkthrough
Ask them to present 2-3 Graphic Design projects in depth. Focus on their process, the problem they solved, design decisions, and measurable outcomes.
Live Design Exercise
Give a brief for a simple feature and ask them to sketch solutions in Brand Identity Design. Evaluate their thinking process, not pixel perfection.
