About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Developer with deep expertise in General Ledger, Accounts Payable & Receivable, Inventory Management to join our client's team. This role requires hands-on configuration, customization, and integration experience — not just consulting knowledge. You will own the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central environment end-to-end: from gathering business requirements and designing solutions, to implementing automations and training end users. The ideal candidate has delivered at least 3 successful Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central implementations and is comfortable working directly with stakeholders to translate complex business processes into elegant platform solutions. Day-to-day, you'll work with Power Automate and Power BI to build custom workflows, reports, and integrations that drive operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Own General Ledger implementation and optimization — configuration, customization, and ongoing enhancement based on business needs
- Manage Accounts Payable & Receivable workflows including setup, user training, and continuous improvement of processes
- Implement and maintain Inventory Management ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and workflows
- Design and implement custom Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions including objects, fields, validation rules, and automation workflows
- Build reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights to business stakeholders
- Manage data quality — deduplication, enrichment, and ongoing governance processes
- Lead Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central integration projects connecting with ERP, marketing automation, and analytics platforms
- Conduct user training sessions and create platform documentation for end users
- Participate in requirements gathering sessions with business teams and translate needs into Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions
- Manage system upgrades, release notes review, and regression testing for quarterly Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central updates
Must-Have Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with General Ledger — configuration, customization, and troubleshooting in production environments
- Proficiency with Power Automate as part of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central development/operations workflow
- 3+ years of hands-on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central experience with at least 2 successful implementation projects
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central data model, security model, and automation capabilities
- Experience with data migration and integration between CRM/ERP and external systems
- Excellent English communication skills — able to conduct requirements sessions with business stakeholders
- Understanding of business processes (sales, service, operations) that the platform supports
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant certification or equivalent validated credential
- Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Developer certification or equivalent validated credential
- Experience with advanced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central features: Accounts Payable & Receivable, Inventory Management, Manufacturing
- Familiarity with the broader Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central ecosystem including Power BI and Azure DevOps
- Experience in a specific industry vertical (healthcare, financial services, or manufacturing)
- Previous experience with agile delivery in consulting or offshore team environments
